About the Workshop

Join Jaime and Armondo Bilancione for a thought-provoking and practical workshop exploring the unique dynamics of interpreting in church settings. Together, we’ll discuss how interpreters can prepare effectively, partner well with congregations, and maintain healthy professional boundaries while serving in ministry contexts.

Participants will also examine ethical and practical considerations surrounding compensation and sustainability for interpreting services in church environments.

This workshop creates an open space for dialogue, learning, and collaboration — helping interpreters, ministry leaders, and students strengthen their understanding of what it means to serve with both excellence and integrity.

Who is this workshop for? Deaf and Hearing interpreters that work in the religious setting.
