Who We Are
First Dallas Deaf (formerly known as Silent Friends Chapel) was formed for Deaf members to learn God's word in American Sign Language. We are located at First Baptist Dallas. Founded in 1919 and is considered one of the longest-running Deaf churches in America. At this moment we are located on the 9th floor in Spurgeon Harris Garage.
Our primary mode of communication is American Sign Language. We do provide interpreters for those who are hearing and desire to be part of our community. We aim to be accessible and inclusive.
